If you want to watch the complete live streaming of ApacheCon Europe '08 please register here.
There you can watch the following ApacheCon Europe: System Administration (Wednesday), Web Security (Thursday), Web Services and Web 2.0 (Friday).
We will be using the open source Ogg/Theora codec to stream the video. The easiest way to handle this is with a Java applet for your browser to play the stream. This approach is browser, and platform-independent, no matter whether you use Linux, Windows, or MacOS.
If you are experiencing difficulty with the Java applet, or prefer not to enable Java in your browser for security reasons, you can try the following alternatives:
- Streaming with the embedded RealPlayer (for Linux, Windows, and MacOS)
- Streaming with the embedded MPlayer (for Linux)
- Streaming with the embedded Windows Media Player (for Windows)
